Letter To Home

Like the moons pale blue breath,
the fog of war that night turned back to sand
and stars came out to give light to the dying land
its wounds still bleeding under a halo devoid of a saint

oh how she pleads him to stay,
to her a morning’s never felt so gray
she fears his deathly duty means much more to him
but every time she’ll ask, a letter will soon tremble in her hands

please forgive me, I have done you wrong
I have gone for too long,
to where heroes are invented and I do not belong

in the moons pale blue light,
they’re slowly moving through the night
the captain thinks it is all clear and gives the sign
but through the undergrowth riflerounds begin their chant

please forgive me, I have done you wrong
I have gone for too long,
to where heroes are invented and I do not belong

please forgive me, yeah I know I failed
so much driven by pride,
I have left you behind, but I’ll turn and do it right

Puts the letter from her hands, willing to forgive the man
‚cause we all do mistakes and are forgiven then
perhaps he wasn’t right but he did what he thought was best
but then it rings again

 Zenith

Free yourself of hatred – Never before it’s been so vital to find back to sense
Don’t strike when you’re baited – or the spiral will devour us all in consequence!

Utter the Word
That is denied me in my dreams
My waiting hands are tired of this sleep!
Loosen these ties
And burning vengeance shall be mine!
That very day your world will turn to ash!

See how they scorn
the high ideals for which you stand
Be dominant! Your bomb gives you the strength!
Now let them drop:
In fire you manifest your reign!
They shall be slain – your you can not be stopped!

A-round it goes!
But ’cause I’m disguised
you couldn’t see that behind my back there’s a bloody knife I hide
what the media shows you is not the whole truth
Oh, never mind!
As if you would care ’bout those people somewhere with their third-world problems!
Never you mind – You’re so lucky to be born with bread and democracy!

Upon the fields a heavy silence lies
Witnesses skulk forever marked
never forget, can’t smother up their shattered dreams

But will you care?
In our time victory is measured in black gold
And black gold paid in bloooood!
Upon those sundried barren grounds
the dust now takes away the last remains of nameless people

Now follow me into my arms –
You took my hand and now you have to pay
Regard your whole disastrous mistake!
Now salutate to war and hunger and disease –
The human race brought to its zenith!

Skyscrapers

Scratching cloudy skies – their silver peaks
are trying to take the lead in this eternal race.
Monuments of time – by hands of man
magnifying him to the state of his gods.

Everybody crawls worms alike
living as a pawn at the hands of the powerful.
Dreaming soaring dreams to be like those
never dying names holding sway over the world.

Say – is not your god an excuse for failing justice!
Say – is not all pain just part of his greater game!

Tho’ their word is law and their deads remain
thousand years and more edged into stone –
They must all decay like mortal men
only that their fall must be the deeper one!

Oh Say! But when I look up at your skies:
I can’t restrain – I keep wondering why
your thrones ascending to gleam in the light
have to obscure our sight on the ground as we walk
– the common mans sight!

On The Ground

I am brought to you by this exclusive feeling of guilt
Youve got it all, but youve got all from me against my will

Look in my eyes and you will see
blankness erased the fears to loose that were before
all my chances never spent, many dreams undreamt on the ground

Oh why dont you love me as thyself
I’m your neighbour and your enemy you chose to hate

Look in my eyes and you will see
blankness erased the fears to loose that were before
all my chances never spent, many dreams undreamt on the ground
Look in my eyes and you will feel
foolish illusions that i had are gone from me
all my chances never spent, many dreams undreamt on the ground

Look in my eyes and you will see
blankness erased the fears to loose that were before
all my chances never spent, many dreams undreamt on the ground
Now were going straight to hell
but its easier to walk now that I can see a light
all my chances never spent, many dreams undreamt on the ground

Right and Wrong

My son for you this game was made
so get out and taste the riches of this world
fear not falter not, they are all yours
to hold to crave to own

Who we are and will become – a matter of birth
those who teach us good and evil shape our minds
and chose the ways we go,
by chosing those we shall know to be the right to walk
or to avoid

Who we are and will become – a matter fo genes?
How can you then blame a murdererfor his deeds?
If its nature’s fault
he would inherit this need to cut their veins
to make them bleed

My son for you I have nothing to give
though I tried, though I bled, in my ashes now I lie
get out and see – our world is not that free
for those not born in the right place

Real existence

All my fault, addiction writhing in me like a snake,
why breathe I still, if this life’s just a fake?
They’re burning me – but now you look away!
Why did you, mother, let me go astray?

We were taught: In our society everyone is free!
But I was weak, now they decide for me!
My shallow life is just the game I play.
I know it’s wrong – oh please god make it stay!

Those that I called „friends“ totally wrecked me with their influence
All they craved was fast immeadiate satisfaction!

Maybe I’m strong, once I know, where on this earth I belong!
Maybe I’ll live, once that I’m told, my life is but shards of a real existence!

Why! You’ve been living a while now, so what-do-you-say?
Why! Have I been living that lie here ’till this very day?
Why! No one cares ’bout the fallen as long as they gain?

The Blue Light

Who are you O pallid men?
Wonder when it all began
In this life you’re walking blind
Never seek and never find

See – Oh see what we become

Who are you O pallid girls?
That today have walked the earth
Is it perril that you flee
Or a guilty memory?

See – Oh see what we become

Bits and bytes shall rule your brain
Madness seizing the insane
Slowly stretches out to kill
empty bodies sitting still

See – Oh see what we become

Come with me out of the blue light, into the sun
Come with me out of the blue light, devoid of warmth
Come with me out of the blue light, before the day is done
Come with me out of the blue light, to live before you die

And there is no escape from the prison in their mind
Noone’s running away when the chains just feel so fine
If you’re willing to flee you won’t find a place to run
‚Cause there’s nowhere to be all alone under the sun

Deliverdance

On your mind you’ve set changing not the journey
On your mind you’ve set altering both ship and sea,
obsession like you scream – unwilling to understand
not all can be changed – some must first be understood

Raise not your hand – were forged from one thing you and I
Can’t make it bend – that’s not a place to sacrifice

In your heart you blazed, burning it to ashes
using up the soul, heating frozen land
obsession like you scream – unwilling to understand
not all can be changed – cause some must first be understood

Loved unquestioning from all your heart and failed
Served unquestioning – you played your part and you paid

Tear shall fall no more, all used up in zeal
Turning dark from loss, turning from the lost
silent now and wise – you paid for sober truth
not all can be changed – some must first be understood

Tomorrow’s Still A While

He’s nobody’s friend – never wanted to be
circled by people he so much detests
media will tear him for us apart
and I really can’t say if I just feel the pity the hatred or guilt

And I ask: Was he the one who picked this existence?
Or could, if happened otherwise, he’d been a happy child?
And I ask people starve billions into nothing
if there had not been better ways to educate the young
– but tomorrow’s still awhile

It’s five in the morning but he didn’t sleep
screen is still damp from his breath
hands a bit shaking he gets out the gun
he is ready to teach them the fear that he felt all life long

And I ask: Was he the one to pick this existence?
Or could, if happened otherwise, he’d been a happy child?
And I ask people starve billions into nothing
if there had not been better ways to educate the young
– but tomorrow’s still awhile

They sleep so safe under the stars – but some of them got it in mind
so sad to see that you don’t care and push away this heavy burden
– tomorrow’s still awhile
